Government will subsidise the car transportation costs from Vladivostok

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce will subsidise the car transportation costs of the new joint venture of Mazda and Sollers at the Far Eastern Federal District in the amount of 500 million rubles.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce will allocate 500 million rubles to car plants for the subsidy of the transport of vehicles manufactured in the Far Eastern Federal District to the other parts of the country in 2018, according to the government statement published in the official website.

The ministry expects to transport at least 5000 automobiles through this transaction. Thereby, a subsidy of 100,000 rubles has been allocated for the transportation of each car.

The joint venture of Sollers and Mazda, established in 2011, is the only enterprise operating in Vladivostok currently, as told by the official representative of Sollers to RNS. Mazda6, CX-5 and CX-9 are the models being assembled at the facility.

The car transportation costs from Vladivostok to Moscow (Khovrino station) in a 20-foot container amounts to approximately 75,700 rubles per unit. The delivery takes around 37 days.
