Car production in Russia has increased by 21% in 2017. Russian car companies have increased the vehicle output by 21% year-on-year in 2017 to 1,4 million units, as reported by Rosstat.

Truck production has risen by 18,2% to 162.000 units, bus production by 3,9% to 26.800 units and automobile engines by 2,2% to 307.000 units.

The output of combine harvesters has also increased by 20,4% to 7300 units and automobile tyre casings and inner tubes by 7% to 65 million units.
