Russian LCV market has grown 17% in 2017

The Russian LCV market has amounted to 108.437  units in 2017, following an 16,7% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicle).

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 44% market share in total. GAZ has sold 47.798 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 14% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 20.046 units (+6,3% y/y). In 2017 the top-three is completed by LADA (10.172 units, +31,3% y/y). Ford (8775, +74,9% y/y) and Mercedes-Benz (7988, +21% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling truck model in 2017 with 25.779 units followed by UAZ 3909 (10.921 units, +19% y/y) and GAZ 3302 (10.792 units, +3,1%).
