KAMAZ truck production has increased 12% in 2017

KAMAZ truck production has increased 12% in 2017. The company has manufactured more than 39,500 car assembly sets in 2017, which is equivalent to a 12% year-on-year increase, published by the company press office.

As one may remember, the production of the modernised KAMAZ-5490 Neo long-haul tractors has started in the plant last April. One-sixth of trucks manufactured by KAMAZ last year belonged to the the new model range. The share of new models will rise by a quarter, amounting to more than 10,000 vehicles.

According to 2018 Business Plan, KAMAZ intends to manufacture 43,100 trucks, 37,000 for the domestic market and 6100 for exports. The net profit is planned as 1586 million rubles, at a revenue of 171.3 billion rubles.
