KAMAZ plans to sell more than 43,000 trucks in 2018

KAMAZ Board of Directors have approved the Business Plan for 2018, following their review of the results of the works carried out by a group of organisations belonging to the company during the first 10 months of 2017. In accordance with the plan, the company intends to sell 43,100 vehicles next year, 37,000 in the domestic market and 6100 for exports. The net profit is planned as 1586 million rubles, as a result of 171.3 billion rubles revenue.

The general director Sergei Kogogin has identified the main tasks ahead of the company and the personnel in 2018. According to Kogogin, numerous investment projects, crucial for the development of KAMAZ, will continue in the new year, the main one amongst which being the preparation for the launch of the brand-new K5 series trucks.

The Board of Directors have decided to extend the position of Sergei Kogogin as the general director of KAMAZ for a term of four years, from 11 February 2018. The authorities of the board members of the company have also been extended for the same duration.

The Board of Directors have also approved the plans to create a new joint venture with the participation of PJSC KAMAZ. Once established, the joint venture will carry out the production of high-capacity industrial power units for diesel-generator and gas-generator plants and pumping units, heavy off-road and construction equipment, small and medium-tonnage vessels for various purposes and railway equipment on the territory of the Russian Federation.
