According to Autostat data, 7754 new trucks have been sold in Russia in August 2017, following an increase of 65,3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the market, with 34% share in total in July. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2647 units, which indicates a 49,5% year-on-year rise. The leader is followed by GAZ, with 691 vehicles (+1,8% y/y). The top-three is completed by MAN with 610 units (+269,7% y/y). Mercedes-Benz (561 units, +162,1%) and Scania (527, +180,3%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.
Russian truck market has amounted to 45,942 units by the end of the first eight months of 2017, following a 47,0% year-on-year growth.
