According to Autostat, 6700 new trucks have been sold in Russia in July 2017, following an increase of 40.9% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the market, with 33% share in total in July. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2100 units, which indicates a 18,7% year-on-year rise. The leader is followed by GAZ, with 672 vehicles (-5,6% y/y). As previously, the top-three is completed by Volvo with 530 units (+244,2% y/y). Mercedes-Benz (445, +99,6%) and Scania (438, +106,6%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.
Russian truck market has amounted to 32,800 units by the end of the first seven months of 2017, following a 43,8% year-on-year growth.
