Truck imports and exports increased in Russia in Q1 2017

NAPI – According to Russian Federal Customs House data, truck imports to Russia increased by 47% within the first three months of 2017, to 5 thousand units. The monetary value of these imports amounts to $410.5 million. While 4,2 thousand trucks have been imported from non-CIS countries for $195.3 million, the remaining 800 automobiles came from CIS countries for $215.3 million.

Truck exports from Russia also on the increased during the Q1, by 16% to 2,9 thousand units, generating a total sum of $74.1 million. 1400 trucks were exported to non-CIS countries for $47,4 million and 1500 to CIS countries for $26.7 million.
