RusAutoNews.Com – According to Russian Federal Customs House data, car imports to Russia have fallen by 17.4% within the first two months of 2017, to 23,700 units. The monetary value of these imports amounts to $691.8 million. While 23,100 vehicles have been imported from non-CIS countries for $683.6 million, the remaining 600 automobiles came from CIS countries for $8.2 million.
Car exports from Russia were also on the decline during the aforementioned period, by 11.7% to 9100 units, generating a total sum of $133.5 million. 4100 automobiles were imported to non-CIS countries for $58 million and 5000 to CIS countries for $75.5 million.
