Russian truck market has returned to plus figures since the turn of the year

Autostat –  According to Autostat data, the Russian new truck market has amounted to 5500 units in November 2016, which is equivalent to a 5.5% year-on-year increase. The market has grown for the eighth consecutive month.

Russian manufacturer KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the market, with 34% share of the total volume in November. The sales figure of the company is equivalent to approximately 1900 units – up by 17.9% year-on-year. Another home brand GAZ occupies the second place, with 624 vehicles (+13%). Swedish brand Scania completes the top-three (368, +84%). Japanese Isuzu (326, +21.6%) and Swedish Volvo -the company with highest growth rate- (312, +280.5%) have also made it into the top-five. It should be noted that all of the top-ten brands have achieved to increase their sales last month.
