Russian LCV market has grown by almost 4% in October

Autostat. – According to Autostat data, the new LCV market has amounted to 8800 units in October 2016, following a 3.8% year-on-year increase. Thereby, the market has risen for the first time after five months of shrinkage.

GAZ has become the leader of the LCV market as usual, with more than 45% share in total. The sales figure of the manufacturer is equivalent to approximately 4100 units – 7% more than last year. Another home brand UAZ occupies the second place with over 1600 vehicles (+1.8%). LADA completes the top-three (1100, +64.2%). German Mercedes-Benz (582, -38.2%) and American Ford (500, +61.8%) are the remaining brands in top-five.

It should be noted that the Russian LCV market has exceeded 71,000 units by the end of the first ten months of 2016, indicating a 6.1% year-on-year decline.
